India displayed fighting spirits in the Finale of the Asian Cup 2009 event in Thailand before going down to China. The silver lining from the tournament  was an automatic berth to the World Cup 2010 ! . The semi-Final victory against a formidable Korean team and for a decent show in the group stage deserves kudos to the Indian Women for a good performance overall at the Asian Level.
