The Thomas And Uber Cup are the World Championships in Men and Women's category respectively. The 2010 edition will be hosted by Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur from May 9th - May 16th . The Indian Mens and Womens contingent made it to the Finals through the Asia Zone Qualifiers. Here is the results for the road to The Worlds.
Asia Zone Qualifiers
Thomas Cup
Group A - Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore
Group B - Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Philippines
Group C - India, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Cambodia
Group D - Japan, Korea, Laos
Uber Cup
Group X - Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Sri Lanka
Group Y - Japan, Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei, India, Philippines
Indonesia , India , Japan and Korea complete the cast from Asia in the Thomas Cup while in the Uber Cup, Korea, Japan, India and Indonesia qualified.
India have previously qualified on seven occasions for The Thomas Cup and twice for The Uber Cup !
