Table Tennis, another racquet sport, which is completely dominated by Chinese World Wide and which has hardly been in the limelight of Indian Sports , still finds a solace amongst paddlers from the city of Pune. With a decent number of competitions organized by the District and State Associations , one can find numerous school children participating in Junior Category Events. With a huge number of Table Tennis Rooms spread across the main city area , the mass public has greeted the sport as their favorite weekend passtime hobby. Just like its compatriot Badminton, Table Tennis Rooms are booked throughout the year on weekends for practice !
The game is controlled by Pune District Table Tennis Association PDTTA in Pune and is governed by Maharashtra State Table Tennis Association MSTTS
